Partially Used: Subraces and Languages

I've come to notice that subraces such as Drow and beastial half-orcs don't start off knowing what one would think to be native languages for them (undercommon and orcish, respectively). I just restarted my beastial half-orc, and he only knew common when I got to the language selection room. My second drow, Ash, also didn't start off knowing undercommon or elven even, while I've started regular non-subraced elves who automatically knew elvish at least

Could this be tweaked so that new characters of these subraces could know their native languages? Likewise, Feindish seems like it would be an excellent 'native language' for demonspawn characters.

I think all the elven folks should start with elven, underdark races with undercommon, fiendish for demonspawn, orc for orcish types, gnome for gnomish types, so forth.

I think you both are right on the money. If you are it, you should speak it.

Languages have been added at the start by race for a couple of years now. I'm adding code during the next planned reset (after I get done in the toolset) to grant languages based on subrace...

Demonspawn: + Fiendish
Drow: - Elven, + Undercommon
Half-Drow: - Elven, + Undercommon
