Just out of curiosity; does anyone know what makes the adamantite breastplate so special, or is it just expensive?

Its meh. If i recall it just has a piddly armor bonus.

Would be nice to have it give 5/- resistance to bludgeon/pierce/slash.

Perhaps it may be more open to crafting than other types, as this may be one created from scratch, as it were?
