Just testing out some video capture software and testing the results.

For those curious...

I used the Debut Video Capture Software, available here for free. Set it to record as .wmv (which seems to give the best quality), played NWN in 800 x 600 "windowed mode" and selected the game window with the rectangle tool, recorded, then uploaded to YouTube.

I like the Ioun Stone link from the website.. very neat !!

I was thinking... want some cheap and easy " Voice-over" for these videos ?... Why not fire up Vent ?.... .. the software seems to record the in-game sound too, it might catch Vent as well ... .... .... ...

Hehe. I can already do that, since the software seems unable to record from the game (or other software) directly. The sound is actually from the computer microphone, recording what's coming out of the speakers (and everything else going on in the room). I had to redo a couple of them when my kids decided to interrupt.
