Those kinds of dreams...

Sometimes there are those kinda dreams you wake up from and say "W...T....F?" And even several hours later, halfway into the next day... you still think "WTF?!".

Mine was.. well, it involved a steampunk version of 1850's NYC being invaded by andoids from brazil, and I had a pirate ship which was the only thing between the city and the invaders.

And my only conclusion is... I had WAAAAY too much barcardi orange last night before bed O_o

Sounds like a solid base for a great novel, manny! My only question, what's an andoid? An android on steroids?

Yeah.. too much Aenea time can do that to you as well.... ... "Worst" dream I've had lately... "waking up" materililising in the astral conjunction, as a semi-transparent, wraith like being and being seriously deluded that in my dreams I had a wife and child, and spent 90% of my evenings staring at a flashing rectangle and using a board full of keys... .... .. .. and then actually waking up, to think WTF, here we go again... and attempting to decide which dream is a dream and what the hell is reality ... ...

... ... having a sleep disorder can really f*ck with your mind sometimes, especially when I don't take my pills.... ....

That's what I was thinking (at least partly because I'm a film student, and ideas are hard to come up with on demand).

I dreamt that I was Miow the other night... participating in a scavenger hunt/tag/capture the flag game in Forsyth Park.

"Tag!"
"You can't tag me! You can't even see me! I have hide in plain sight!"
"Oh!" *suddenly, cannot actually see me*
"Ha!" *runs away with some scavenger hunt item*

And for more dream weirdness...

Last night's was really long and weird. Elements included apartment hunting, and the best place I could find... well the floors were slanted. Really slanted. One room apartment with a 35 degree slant to the floor....

I run outa there, being chased by the cops because I accidently went looking in the wrong apartment (they had no apartment numbers on the doors!)... and I run into a guy and his family trying to put together a rocket sled. They ask me to help in exchange for making the cops. Sure.... just turns out the guy and his family... complete dummies, and that whole adventure in trying to help them ends with him running around a garage with a half gallon milk container filled with little pellets of C4 and mountain dew, thinking that if he shook it enough, when he popped the cap he'd take off like a rocket... and his kid was all upset because he wasn't allowed to go flying with Daddy...

And damn... I wasn't even drinking last night!

Back in school, Ua always had weird dreams.

One day, I had just come back from asking a girl if she wanted to come over that evening and watch Firefly. I was tired, so I wandered down to Ua's room to see what he was up to. I would up falling asleep on his bed (which we believe to be a significant factor in his and my dreams) and dreaming that the girl lived within walking distance of the school and I wandered over and met her parents, and acted all shy and awkward and bashful, and they laughed at me and thought I was hilarious.

And that wasn't the first time I had a strange dream in that bed.

Since I had Pandorum playing when I fell asleep last night, I know that influenced the dream's setting at least...

Me, on some sorta ship out in who-knows-where. And a VAST majority of the crew were female. 90%? Maybe I was one of like, guys outa hundreds of women...

No... it's not one of THOSE dreams.

They were all my ex's.

Can we say, "awkward situation"?

Uncomfortable enough where for some reason I was "hiding out in disguise"... and the disguise was some big "beer can sports mascot" costume.

And to think I wasn't even drinking lat night either O_o

I think i might have somehow telepathically displaced my dream into manny's brain or something... cuz I *did* do a lot of drinking last night... at a place where two of my ex's used to live.....(but not anymore)....
