Re: The Gamers
I just watched The Gamers 2 on Netflix. Very good flick, but made me miss the days when I had time to keep a D&D group together and play or DM every week.
NWN is great, but there's something to be said for also have a face-to-face game where you can do almost anything (and the DM can add anything at any time it's needed), while socializing and munching snacks until 3 in the morning.
ponders bringing back Bear, his charismatic half-orc fighter that crushes enemies with his bare hands and speaks with a poor imitation of a bad russian accent.

In soviet Aenea, Dragon doesn't play bear, Bear plays dragon!

Ahhh yes.... the golden days. I sort of outgrew my most recent group to an extent... I may have to get back in touch with them at some point.... I do miss the shenanigans.

And this reminds me of Yakov Smirnov... "In America, they have American Express : dont leave home without it. In Russia, we have Russian Express: Dont leave home."
