Not Used: Log in Delay Script?
Any chance we could have some way of adding a delay to a players ability of logging back in after say, using a tome or some other Leto-related function, so as to eliminate the chance of interrupting the leto edit process?

Nothing that wouldn't require them to log into the game before it would even register that they were logging in.
Re: Not Used: Log in Delay Script?
Well, then, here is the $64 question:
When a player "logs in" to the server, but has not yet selected a PC to play, thus not directly accessed their .bic file, would this interfere with Leto or not?
To go one step further:
If Leto renames the .bic to .utc while doing an edit, if a player were to log back in before the edit was complete, the character wouldnt show up in their character vault, yes? As the file has not been renamed back to .bic due to the edit process not having completed yet?
(This would by extension mean that logging in too early would prevent a player from accessing the .bic as they cannot see the character file, and perhaps if they log out, and wait it might reappear once the edit is done - which of course hinges on the player log in not borking the leto edit process.)
If the player log in borks Leto without them even slecting a character, then well... that sucks.

Re: Not Used: Log in Delay Script?
I don't think it's login related. As you mentioned, the character file being edited can't be accessed until its file type is changed back to a .bic.
Re: Not Used: Log in Delay Script?
Well, it still could be, you see....
It depends at what point the player client forces the server to access that player's .bic files.
If the player can view their vault without accessing the files, then yes, Leto is safe from being interrupted because the file wont be renamed .bic until leto is done, so the player wont be able to see it and cause a problem by accessing it.
If just connecting to the server and bringing up the vault accesses the files, that could bork Leto's edit process. Hence why I wanted to see if you knew which was which.
