So bleak... and yet part of the reason zombie movies are watchable is because we find it somewhat reasonable to believe that people are big enough idiots to do the dumb stuff the characters do in those movies...

And just think... unbeknownst to us all, there could be some jackass scientist feeding the rabies meatloaf to his pet gorilla as you read this.

Not a pleasant thought, eh?

When I was younger, I had just finished reading The Stand by Stephen King, and turned on the news and the first story was about a contagion scare out of a government research lab. Horror's always best when based on reality Wink
