Dave, Manny, and certainly ... my own posts, I cannot vouch for...

In all honesty, I think out of 4,000 posts... maybe 10 of mine have really solid information that would be considered useful. A lot of them have been fluff, or arguing, or complaining, etc.

Im not incredibly proud of some of my threads and how I've handled them... but life is a journey... and I am learning bit by bit without compromising what I stand for.

Now, now, we've ALL had posts like that.... maybe not quite as many as you, but that's more than likely beause you have more posts to go against...

I'm pretty sure that most people's post/useful post ratio is somewhere closer to yours than you might think...

Kind of you to say, and perhaps more generous than I deserve. I aim to improve that ratio in time, at least in the sense of quality.

I usually try to be helpful.

You ARE helpful... I think, there is a handful of times when you have incorrectly answered a question or gotten something wrong, easily only enough times to count on one hand....

Your arguments with MJ always have me in deep thought over both sides, and deep in thought about which side is the better option or how to come to a compromise that you can both agree on....

Your aid and idea in setting in up the dward maker in-game was second to none, and you implement it so well too....

Your technical help outside of game is top advice that would likely cost a small penny to get from an "official" source, and we know that your ways and methods work, you have solved countless tech issues for all of us, with both PC and NWN problems (and general life problems)....


oh and lets not forget how you went off your own back and set up Ventrillo for the enjoyment of all, even if it is a bit underused, it is a great resource for all us Aeneans....


So whilst YOU think you may do alot/ done alot or not help out in major ways, there is a small list of past achievements made up in 5 minutes of things YOU have done.... ..... DON'T UNDERESTIMATE YOUR VALUE AS A PLAYER, AS A DM, AS A FORUM MEMBER, OR AS A FRIEND......

Afterall trying to be helpful is one better step then not trying at all ..... ... .. .. .. .. .. .. . ..

Oh and just cuz I wanna make sure it gets said... anything positive that I have been able to accomplish as part of this community is all credited to for allowing me the freedom, creating the forums, creating the tools, and trusting me not to abuse them. So really, he is the one who made all the good stuff possible. I just rode his coatta... er tail...?

It's a great thing that the Dragon has going here. Not only because he made it all possible, but enough people have joined in his vision to give it life beyond his scope. After all, as awesome as Aenea is, think of how it would be without Crideas Bane, Alastair Synge, Jay Braysin, Phyllick Delucian (sp), Grog Ale-quaffer, etc... It is a fantastic thing that we have all managed to create and enjoy together, and I look forward to there being many more years ahead!
