Seriously. I went through all sorts of trouble and possibly broke a few laws to get it reinstalled today, and it dies while I'm in the process of downloading the files.

I recall AZ thunderstorms as rather spectacular, but often severe. It can dump around 6" of rain in less than an hour which creates flash floods in the dry, baked river beds. And I saw ball lightning form in a field once, and explode in blue-white flames when it encountered a tumbleweed.

If any have been archived, Arizona Republic magazine used to have some terrific pics of such breathtaking events.

We hardly ever get thunderstorms here in England. But a small one rumbled through the other day while I was at work. I had the window open behind me. Saw a flash of lightning out of the corner of my eye, then, a split second later, there was the loudest crack of thunder I'd heard in a long time. I actually jumped and screamed like a little girl.

Game went back online a few hours later.

I actually lounged in a chair near some open windows, listening to the sounds of rain, wind, and thunder...and fell asleep.

I thought you were sleepless. lol

Just teasing ya. After all that you do for us, it's nice that you got some time to relax and be with family.

Glad that the server is back.
