Partially Used: The Portal "Spark"

Was just thinking about the portals.. something seems like it was "missing" since the re-script/re-design/overhaul.. and I finally figured out what it was....

With the old system, as the portal "opened" there used to be a loud "spark" sound, the new portals are eeriely quiet when opened.. I'm not sure if this is by design or not, but is possibly to add a "portal opening sound" back to the system ?.. I think something like a swishy-swirly sound would be more appropriate though (rather then the old spark).... ...

I hate trying to explain what sounds, sound like... but hopefully the idea has gotten across... ...


Also... the load-screen for "Aenea" (the Astral Junction Load screen) has an image containing spreading his wings in triumph to the backdrop of an "old" portal... .. and I know of one other place where an "old" portal exists in Aenea (((but that's more of personal thing ! ! )))
