Flesh To Stone Empty Flesh To Stone

The Amethyst Dragon, what's the duration on this spell? The description says permenant, but I've noticed it wears off. I suspected 1 round/level, but it seems to wear off sooner than that.

According to the script right now, it should be permanent against NPCs and last 6 minutes on PCs.

:-/ odd, Aga's petrify's are fading after about a minute, minute and a half against NPCs (no renewal or resting, fading mid-combat).

By chance did the recoding of dispells include flesh to stone removal? I WAS using a staff of the magi with an on-hit dispel... not that even greater dispeling has the power to remove anything cast by Aga... but I can't think of anything else that might explain this

Practically everything with the dispelling is as it was before the recoding...I just made it work with the updated duration AoEs.

I'll have to check on the staff of the magi...I'm pretty sure not all the on-hit properties actually use the spell scripts.

That's true.. the Holy Avenger dispel magic property has some serious funky stuff going on according to the nwnwikki ( here ) , the staff of magi may be similar...

I haven't seen anything of the holy avenger's dispel effect for as long I have played my character. . .I thought Aeneas version of the Holy Sword spell had been edited to not have it. Suspect

Admittedly, it really takes the "umph" out of the spell since its one of the only perks a paladin gets to defend themselves from enemy spellcasters.

I got rid of Gabriel's holy avenger because it was dispelling things like his bigby's effects on enemies.
