Folks ain't gonna know it's me !

Fer as long as most folks can remember I were that loveable feller in the blue armor with the fashionable trend setting red and yellow accents... (ok, they were the colors of Torgat).

Recently, there were a change made ter the armour I were wearing (hello Bowen me lad) that caused it ter get replaced/upgraded.

When I try ter dye this here new set it were not allowing me ter do so.

Were this the way it were gonna be now?

Or were it just sumthin wut happened by accident?

For as long as I can remember, I've retained a particular color scheme (I'm one of those 'fancy-lad' dwarves), this last set of armor included. I got one of those dye pots before I got a Brooch of Shielding.

Now my armor doesn't match my disposition, 'Delver Union 36' tattoos, and the rest of my fancy getup.

There are a few items in-game that are not supposed to be dye-able. There was a typo in the dye kit script that allowed it anyway. I fixed the typo, so that's what you're seeing. It should give you a message telling you that particular item can't be dyed.

You're probably referring to the armor of the redeemed, which is made from enchanted silver scales and is supposed to stay silver.

I recently updated that armor to give it a minimum level requirement, which replaced your armor with the updated armor, which is back to its intended silvery color.

The dye limitation is only put on items that are supposed to look more like the material they are supposedly made from or have a specific reason for the colors I gave them in the toolset.

Grog ye be a genius with that there stoneblock engravings... hahahaha
