The chances of Bioware's authentication server coming back up are next to nil, and the 5-10 long seconds as you try to unsuccessfully authenticate when opening up NWN's multiplayer are rather annoying.

To rid yourself of this annoyance, all you need to do is open your hosts file in Notepad (This is a file named "hosts", with no extension, located at \Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts).

Add the following entries:

0.0.0.0 nwmaster.bioware.com
0.0.0.0 nwnauth.kr.infogrames.com
0.0.0.0 66.244.193.142
0.0.0.0 203.239.47.115

Save up and you're good to go.
