ya i know i brought this up before but i had a question/idea. I know implementing a HUGE script like the one on the vault is out of the question....but how hard would it be to make a prestige class using the built in mind flayer mechanics? Theres a few psionic abilities in game....mind blast and such...and a few spells could be just renamed to simulate some of thier powers. The level 10 power could be the crafting of a crystal golem.

Just a thought i had.

Psionics has never had a real place in Aenea, and I have no plans of adding what's basically a new system of magic. At most it's been a "spell-like ability" of mind flayers.

If one wanted to do the same things as a psionicist (psion, whatever they're called these days), there's the sorcerer and wizard classes, perhaps multiclassed with a priest class and/or a warrior class depending on what type of psionicist you were trying to emulate. For a crystal golem, there's already that power for the Animator prestige class. You can role-play a character as psionic, but actual psionics just don't exist in Aenea.
