just wanted to say thanks to both daveyeisley and for the impromptu adventure last night, it was really awesome! i really enjoyed getting introduced to some of the 'local color' and i'm looking fwd to seeing how this might unroll into a new story arc.

I logged in, was invited just as they went topside. missed the lot

I had been doing some testing, but jumped into DMing it when I logged on and there were 4 epic characters all hanging out in the same area for a long time for some reason.

A zombie named Bob was killed, then bad things started appearing from a portal that opened up nearby (perhaps all the magic that had been flying around there had weakened the space between planes a little, and a dangerous NPC decided to take advantage of the situation).

The PCs were able to finally keep anything else from coming through the portal after some roleplaying (see, sometimes multiple prayers to multiple gods do get answered).
