You (or the other person) have not got/requested a multiplayer/pw/online CD key from Bioware so you have a generic one created for SP only (likely from one of you getting NWN from GOG)...

Or...

Someone used a keygen/cracked version of NWN and have effectively stolen your CD key!

Search the Bioware Forums for the solution... I've heard of reason 1 before and reason 2 is just pure speculation....

I got mine from GoG, for an easier install, but I installed it using the CD-Key that I already owned (I only got it from GoG a few months ago, I used to play with the normal retail version.)

Did you crash? Sometimes your key can be "in use" for a while after a crash.

Was this message from Aenea, or from Bioware? Meaning, did you get the message when you first tried to logon to "play internet game" or was this a message Aenea sent you when you tried to specifically login to Aenea?

No crash, and from Aenea.

I can try and get a MP key from GoG, since I never did that (already had my original, just bought the GoG version so I didn't have to keep track of my disc.)
