Shadowchild visibility command
did that *vc shadowform* turn on/off command ever get into the server?

I do not think so, no. I still find it a nice idea to have though, seeing as it's rather difficult to make clothes for a shadowchild race do to the concealment blurring textures/colors.
As far as I know, there's only the vc command: ;;tool shadowfix to reset it, if it has been lost and/or somehow is lost.
I found a temp fix which will remove the concealment though, use the jump widget and select a nearby location on the ground to jump too...it will remove the concealment. To get it back on, just use the ;;tool shadowfix vc command.

hmmm tried that..became visible...used the ;;tool shadowfix and it didnt fix it.

When I'm making a new outfit for my shadowchild, I have a routine that helps. First, with the multi-dyepot, I dye every part a distinctive loud bright color, so I can see where all the different colors will lay the same in the design (no matter if it's a shadowchild or not, this is a helpful step). Then I go to a Sronj's and alter the outfit on the mannekin, and all the textures will be of course completely visible on the mannekin. Then after completing the alterations, I find that I can often see enough of the loud colors on my shadowchild to roughly dye them near to what I want. Then to finish it off, I wait until the next reset and don't leave the spawning iceberg, but move over to the side and dye the item to my heart's content, because the shadowchild will stay visible until you go to step off onto the pathway to the portal.Angel of Death wrote:I still find it a nice idea to have though, seeing as it's rather difficult to make clothes for a shadowchild race do to the concealment blurring textures/colors.

Yeah, that's a possibility as well. Personally, though. I have found my trick to work quite well...
Alternatively, the outfit can be created in the toolset and then later you can try to match it up on the tailor model in-game. Although it's a bit more difficult since the appearance numbers in the toolset doesn't match up with those on the model in game...

Today I had a glitch with my Shadow Child concealment, which reminded me of AoD's comment here.
My Shadow Child didn't appear concealed, although the icon in the upper left said that she had concealment.
Using the ;;tool shadowfix (several times) didn't fix it, and neither did relogging.
It wasn't until she rested that her convealment vfx was restored.
