Vault AWOL?

Hey, dudes.

Anyone been to the vault lately? Seems that there has been no update for awhile, due to the failed script issue. The question that I have is this - does this mean the end of the vault? I don't want to seem like an alarmist, but consider this - NwN is over 10 years old and not supported by its parent companies - therefore, I could see it placed on the back burner permanently.

i couldn't imagine nwn without the vault. so if that's the case, what happens to the files, do you think? will the site just become an archive? I couldn't imagine the powers-that-be for the vault would let its many years of content just go up in smoke.

i'm concerned about this because personally i still search the vault and find new stuff (new to me, anyways), and of course replace things I've lost over the years.

I'm hoping the Vault gets back to fully functioning soon. I've got a few more things I'd like to post there, and without new content coming in, I'm sure their traffic is falling.

That site has been one of the biggest reasons this game has been viable over so many years...one place to get all the new and best (and worst as well) additions to the game. Modules, hak files, overrides, etc.

I saw this thread (...with topic title: 'The Vault Preservation Project' x:), started by Rolo Kipp about an hour ago on the social bioware site. Since it's directly related to your question, thought I would mention it (also to get the word out)...
