Actually, that shield is available in the game. Young Jr took me to the location and gave my PC one as a gift.

My comment was one simply made in jest (Two reasons 1) the shield appearance is a skull head of a dragon, 2) the location he's standing at the time of screenshot is a crypt-like place much alike Vorshy's place)

Elundir's fanclub, and part of the reason he wields a blade, so all his fans can quickly get his "autograph".





And here we have the results of Elundil's very first use of Death Arrow (an arcane archer ability). Ancient red dragon across a pool of lava, at full health.

I'm thinking this elf just got extremely lucky and put an arrow right through said dragon's eye socket and deep into it's brain.

A beholder mage knocked Elundir down with telekinesis, then charmed him, then was kind enough to conceal him with a path of fog while the elf sat bored and many of the subsequent eye rays missed.





Yeah, bad guys shouldn't run up to Elundir without expecting to become a pincushion. And yes, that's at least 5 visible lightning arrows sticking out of that lave elf eruptor.





Elundir has given up on armor and decided on a classy and functional adventurer's robe.





This image is just a dramatic visual of arriving via a teleport scroll. I don't foresee Elundil giving up on that dragon skull shield anytime soon (he's 33rd level now and still using it).

Elundir Truefeather and a beholder come to an agreement. The beholder stops trying to kill Elundir, and the elf will stop shooting his eyes out with arrows.

In-game, I shot this beholder a couple times and he left. I followed him, and he just stopped, turned to look at me, and kept staring (no attacking, no eye rays, nothing).

It's not too often you can get a screenshot of a living beholder that doesn't include VFX going off all over the place and damage messages and such.
