That time of year is gettin' close...

June 16th will mark 7 years that Aenea has been online. I'll be doing something in-game to mark the occasion...not sure what yet, but something.

Yup. 7 years online, plus at least a year of pre-online development (doing things like laying out areas and items, and downloading haks from the Vault over dial-up while I slept)...I think I've been at this for just a little while...

Oh, hells yes! Aenea is the best all around, and is tops for sure!

What about a big shindig at the Adventurer's Academy? A trade-show or convention type thing that would showcase the Academy, and also showcase wares and trades of various vendors?

An outdoor venue may be less problematic; the AA tileset creates the need for camera changes sorta frequently. But I am in favor of vendor stalls again.

What about the clearing around the AA? Plenty of space there, and would draw folks to the AA and explore a bit, maybe.

Some stalls around the leaf market would be cool....
Maybe a "7 wonders of aenea" thing...
How about the next part of the "Veleron's Crystals" quest being a major DM event ?

Don't know.. but it would be like an advertised tour of Aenea's impressive landmarks...

Things like the ...
"Ring of the Warrior" (Torgat's sword at Stonehenge)
"Great Pyramid of Calithia"
"Spine of Shentil" (spine hill)
"Coral reefs of Wreckage" (out in the Celestan Ocean, where all the sunken ships are)
"Eternal Fires of Fortune" (some Volcano/Mountain place like either Forge or the Sunset Cauldron)
"Great Frozen Lake of the Damned" (someplace, possibly new, out in Icereach)
"Pilgrims Path of the Pillars" (out in Damorok, near Primarka)


Things like that.. easily recognisable, easily found, BIG landmarks..... maybe going to each one can give a crystal similar to last years, but visiting all seven will net a special little "seventh heaven" reward (ring/amulet/boots/rod (~rod with 7spells only all at CL 7 ) ) ?

I was also thinking ... what about 7 legends? Could be like that Silverstrom guy, the elf that owned the old rusty blade, Valorian himself ... don't forget, as well, there are those crazy statues in the town hall - maybe some of them in the 7 as well. Could always have a lecturer show up in the AA with information about the various 7 ...

I have a quest in the works.  When it's live, Entrom will have a couple odd items for sale that he doesn't normally carry. (Hint: get the updated hak if you haven't already)

I'm also going to be boosting XP gains for a week starting tomorrow sometime.

Not sure what else I'll be adding for the week, we'll see how much I have time for.  That item that Entrom will be selling took a day to get the model making finished.
