Could these lil guys be made to use the same eye ray rules as all the other beholders (regular, mages, and eldes)?

It's a bit beyond ridiculous that a 40th level ascended character could stand naked in front of a horde of beholder elders with no fears, but a single eyeball can paralyze her with little to no effort.

Not to mention that their paralyze rays last 5+ minutes, which is just beyond words.

They really need to have their rays be touch attacks like the rest of the beholders, and the duration of their paralyze ray needs to be examined.
