Penalties for dying?

? What's the penalty for dying GP wise supposed to be? Had a character die with no piety and she lost well over 50% of her GP. If that's intended, that's just plain sadistic.

Ouch! Perhaps this is related to the One Shot vermin bug we had some time ago?

Without piety being taken into account, the losses when walking over the dais to return to life should be (according to the script):
gold: 10% of a character's current gold (max 200,000)
xp: 50 per level (PCs level 1-6), 100 per level (PCs level 7-10), 200 per level (PCs level 11+).
