Loitering Djinni

Yesterday my wizard was conducting experiments on the liches under the Searing Sands, and made several trips there.

On one of her visits, I think a lich must have summoned this Djinni.

First, I can't say that the Djinni did anything to help the lich, as he didn't seem to have anything he knew he was supposed to do.

After the lich was destroyed, the Djinni remained.  Blue, non-hostile, he just stood there.

I even went up to him, and all he said was something to the effect of since I didn't summon him, he wouldn't grant me any wishes.

So he stood there over the entire RL day, hours and hours, just loitering there impassively as I passed him by with more rounds through the sarcophagi.

I expect he stood right there until reset.  Most other lich summons tend to disappear, so I thought this might be a bug.

Sounds like a bug with the wish or limited wish spell.  I'll have to put a timer on it so that even if a wish isn't made he'll disappear after a time.
