Two deadstalker questions

How are the powerpoints for deadstalkers figured? It may have been stated in the trainer's introduction dialogue, but I didn't write down the specifics if so :-O

And with the deadstalker turn ability, does it work like the regular cleric/paladin/blackguard turn ability, as in evil characters can't turn undead but will be able to do the dominate version of turning when it works?

And overall, this class rocks.
