Used: Tomes and Manuals

Since you've gained the ability to mess around with ability scores,
what are the odds of items like Tomes of Leadership and Influence or
Manuals of Gainful Exercise showing up? Having only a passing
familiarity with scripting, I imagine it would be a pain in the neck to
make sure someone who uses a +1 Tome and a +2 Tome only ends up with a
+2 bonus, but those were always favorites in my old PnP group, so I
figured I'd throw the idea out there.

These are now in the game. Very, very rare, but they are around.
Just like in PnP D&D, books of a similar sort do NOT stack, and the total possible is +5 to a single ability score. There are +1 to +5 versions of each book.
If you use a +1 version, then a +1 version, only the first will take effect.
If you use a +1 version, then a +3 version, the +3 will give you +2 more than you had before since it overlaps with the lower power version.
