Used: Great Hall of Zolaras (Bring down that wall!)

Logged in this afternoon for a bit on my break, and another player informed me that someone had placed multiple barriers of stone all around the spot where you spawn in after death in the great hall of zolaras. Talon broke a path out of there, and my monk cleared out the rest of the barriers when she made her usual visit to the hall, but still...

Perhaps the great hall could be made barrier spell unfriendly such as the Orc palace or other places? That type of grieffer prank could easily be prevented with such a restriction

If im not mistaken..isnt there a chat log that would record who did said griefing?

That restriction will be added next time I get into the toolset. That's just bad manners, especially since starting spellcasters or others may not be able to break down the walls themselves.

Ok, anti-wall spell limitation added to areas that PCs need to be able to travel in freely:
Sleeping Dragon Inn
The Great Hall of Zolaras
The Astral Conjunction
Shadowy Crypt
Valorian's Vale

Also, since I was fixing missing area variables, I added a limitation on teleporting from the Astral Conjunction. I did this one so that if there's a major update to something, a PC has to hit the update trigger in the Sleeping Dragon before going out adventuring. I don't want anyone to miss out on important changes if they get into the habit of skipping the inn completely by constant use of teleport scrolls.

Suggestion for an anti-wall area: Limbo?

See people doing this can really ruin a server. And to the person that did it , it is not best to tick-off a private server with a tightly knit community willing to knock some heads around.
