Got some wonderin's bout's custom items I do

I recently received Rayvensclaw's blade the other day, and after useing it I have noticed a few things I would like to change (add this/remove that). I am also coming up on his 32 hour chest (I should have that this afternoon, woot!) which I intend to use to spruce his blade up a bit more. So to my question, if I were to use another voucher to add items to a custom, would I also need to purchase a voucher at the SDI to make some changes to properties that are already on it? I believe I will buy said voucher either way, just in case, but figured I'd get some clarification on this issue before I bust out the toolset. And my long winded self be done, lol.

I believe that adding the value of another voucher doesnt require a redesign voucher as well, at least I hope it doesnt, lol

Only redesigning the item *without* adding more value to it needs the redesign voucher, I think/hope.

I know ya don't need one just to add to a item, but I am wanting to remove a couple things that I had put on in the beginning and found to not be of much use and replace them with other properties. Hence the wondering about the redesign voucher. I went ahead and grabbed a redesign voucher just in case, it wasn't to much so no worries.

Thats what I meant, adding value, I believe *includes* the opportunity to redesign.

As far as I know, that's the case. Dead Jane completely redesigned her armor (it was 40k with an 80k upgrade, I believe) and she altered many of its basic properties. never said I couldn't, so I am assuming that it is indeed the way it works.

ok, I'm in the toolset now, the base item is staying the same (because me loves the blade itself, hehe) just removing some underutilized properties and replacing them with ones that would work for Rayvensclaw a bit better.
