Not Used: Item Property: Statuebreaker

Seeing as how popular of an effect this is, how about adding it to the list of custom item properties for cloaks only? I'm sure we'd be willing to pay large amounts on our items to save that slot and give it a nice new look

I suggested allowing that function on other items 2 years ago. It was summarily rejected, even after appeals and pleading.

Statuebreaker is the official name... but I knew what kitten meant.... still, wouldnt hurt to update the thread title and posts.

It may not be a selectable custom property, but it can be enchanted by the dwarf and the maker, can it not? That solution isn't as cool as a selectable property, but it's better than nothing...

Nay. Dwarf or Maker cannot add Statuebreaker to an item.

There is a single item in all of Aenea that will bestow that property. It is a cloak.

I believe he means in reverse... you could enhance that cloak via dwarf/maker...

Of the Dwarf/ Maker variety, yes, but it doesn't allow for modifications to the item's appearance, which I think is what the OP was after. The Statuebreaker Cloak falls into that unfortunate category of Aenean items with nigh-indispensable properties, but whose appearances and colours are unchangeable and often... erm... not good-looking (the Helm of Mindshielding always jumps to mind as an example).

Frankly, I'd be just as happy if clerics of Ralth (or Dwarf/ Maker/ DMs, a quest, something) made it possible to alter the look of an item that was not normally changeable, maybe even going so far as to allow for those special appearances in the toolset that aren't available through the Boots of Modification.

I would be happy with just being able to alter the color.

Out of all of my gear now that is the only item I have to swap to during combat with enemies that can stone me. And honestly I forget to swap all the time ,so being able to put it on my current cloak of eyes even if it took weeks to get the items to do so would make me very happy.
