Something I had a thought on....

Good monks get blue eye glow, neutral monks purple, and evil, red.

Perhaps the SFW sword could do that as well? Evil SFW's get a red flame while good SFW's get the blue?

You can change it, can't you? That dye shop carries aura dyes, yes?

Yes, but you blow through a lotta aura powders, and the blue looks a bit off with the evil aura :-X

I keep meaning to play a SFW, but I'm at a loss what to do with my free hand.

The blue fire comes from the actual model file, rather than a visual effect applied to the sword (like the fire/acid/etc.). I have plans of doing something similar to your suggestion later, once I've finished with several other large projects (since this will require model editing/adding, plus making multiple copies of the existing 5 or 6soulfire blade item blueprints (and armor blueprints so that the colors match up), plus editing scripting to account for alignment.
