Dark reading Empty Dark reading

By chance I have been of late reading some rather dark books.

Started of with
In the winter dark - Tim Winton
and
For the term of his natural life

both Australian books, both rather on the dark side, yet still riveting reading, even if some of the descriptions in the later were a little long winded. Still on the whole, possibly the most disturbing book that I have read. Too close to home I guess. No, actually, just plain disturbing.

Now for something a little lighter, War of the Worlds.

Not an intentional list, just the top three off the pile ...... still quite dark reading. Recommended.

cheers, Jack

Interesting! I like dark reading ... after all, we have plenty of flashlights here!
