Clerics of Ralth
I've long wondered what the following sentence implied:
It is rumored that priests of Ralth can even forge items with magical properties beyond what even some wizards can create.
The word "some" is a qualifier that seems to mean that "some Wizards" can forge items equally as powerful as a Cleric of Ralth, and ultimately both classes have the same Enhancement cap when creating items. Would this be correct to assume?
Does it mean that Clerics of Ralth don't suffer as much of an XP or GP loss when creating magical items? That a Cleric of Ralth can create a higher Enhanced item at a lower level than a Wizard of a comparable level (though the +5 max might still apply)? Or perhaps, hope beyond hope, that a Cleric of Ralth might actually be able to create a suit of armor with a +6 Enhancement modifier?
What does the sentence mean?
Or is this a mystery of Aenea that can only be answered through player experience?

You're gonna have to change that line to "A cast of millions" soon...

Re: Clerics of Ralth
Question, sort of relatd to this topic:
Is it possible to undergo a quest to change one's deity choice?
I know blackguards can do so... but what about somebody who for whatever reason chooses to begin worshipping a new deity?

Re: Clerics of Ralth
Right now, the only ones that can change are those taking up the blackguard class...since not worshipping an evil deity isn't a choice for them. The choice of evil deity is also decided for blackguards when they start down that path...Sorgath or Ragnor, depending on their alignment.
And a blackguard's patron deity never changes again after that.

Re: Clerics of Ralth
I know of a way to mechanically change the deity, I am just asking if it is permissible for PCs who are not happy with their chosen deity to undergo a process to reflect the RP involved in the change coming about.
I certainly don't advocate drive-by deity swapping.
