Not Used: Bard and Farstep Masters...

Hail All...

With all the traveling that Bard's are suppose to do... and even though teleport (etc) are not on their spell lists (to my knowlegde - I think I'm wrong though, I haven't gone and checked !!).. I think that the Farstep Master PrC should be open to say 15th+ Bards as well as Wizrds and Sorc of 11th /12th .. ...

I don't know why but the idea of that a well-travelled bard should eventually unlock (via bardic lore etc) the secrets to help them get around with more ease...

Any thoughts from anyone else.. ?

You apparently need the spells, to act as a battery. Bards don't get those spells.

..But I would love to see them have Some means of getting and using this class. It seems so bardy to me, I guess. If bardy is a word.

Bards have Summon Ally in their spell books, but not transference, teleport, magehound or teleport-capture (which are the base spells used for the farstep master abilities).

Rather, perhaps it'd be appropriate for Clerics of Gort to have access to FSM

I would agree on the clerics of Gort suggestion, and would also like to suggest that clerics of Gort be able to use teleport scrolls, we get teleport as a bonus spell, but cannot use teleport scrolls............if the game mechanics allow it, that would be nice.
