Not Used: Bard Song?
One odd thing I've always wondered about bard songs is, the bard is singing for the whole duration (when you try to sing again while one song is already going, you're told you can only sing one song at a time). However, the effects of the bardsong/cursesong seem to be applied 'when cast', that is, allies/enemies who come into the sphere of effect after you do the sing action work as if they're deaf or something and don't hear the song.
Could it be possible to tweak the various bard songs to apply the effect to new allies/enemies who enter within range of the bard after the song is sung, perhaps even with a 'weaker' effect placed on them, such as with the ice bard song, the new targets don't get the 'initial' damage of the effect, but suffer maybe half of the round-to-round damage.... since they didnt' hear *all* the song, just part, they would only take partial effect.

Re: Not Used: Bard Song?
Right now, it's hearing the whole song and being enthralled/affected by it and held by it. Kind of like how it's easier to skip past a movie you like on TV that you know is half-done than it is to skip if it were just starting and you could see the whole thing.
Also, doing so would drastically up the power of the bard songs, without a boost to the ability of all enemies to resist it.

Ah, ok, understandable
A question tho' too on the songs.... Now and then I'll have a swarm around me, and I'll use a song, but only one or two enemies get hit with the burn or freeze effect from the winter carol/fire song, while most of the other times every baddie will be affected. Happens maybe once outa every 15 uses or so. Is that intentional?

Re: Not Used: Bard Song?
I have similar issues with some spells... I think it has to do with network latency causing me to see certain enemies within the area, when in truth they are not...
