Not Used: Two bard song suggestions

Two bard song suggestions... not any of the songs themselves, but rather a feat, and an item property.

Item property... Lyrics of the Lich. It uses up a bard song use to effectively cast "horrid wilting", which is centered on the bard. Which is very nice, but at the upper levels, it doesn't scale up as nicely. The DC/Damage seems to be static, not scale with the bard level/cha modifier at all as the horrid's spell does for casters damage/DC. Perhaps this could be tweaked to scale to the bard's level?

Feat.... Lasting Inspiration. Currently you need 21+ bard to take this feat. It extends your bard song to 100 rounds per use (or 105 rounds if you have lingering song as well). For 21+ bards, they already have numerous bard song uses... Alastair rarely, if ever, goes down below even half his bard song uses in a given rest period, and that's factoring in spamming lyrics of the lich.... Perhaps this feat could be tweaked to add something meaningful to a epic level bard to make it worth taking over any of the other numerous song related feats?

Perhaps it could instead of extending bard song duration, increase the power of the songs sort of like an empower spell, but for songs? 21+ bard and 25 perform (which actually makes it a 22+ level bard rrequirement, hehe) is a hefty requirement already.

Whats the static dmg on the Lich Lyrics? I bet I can devise a balanced dmg scale for it to give it more oomph.

Only problem I see for the "empower" idea on lasting inspiration is that some of the songs have static outputs, so it wont affect them.
I would rather see the feat allow two songs to be sung at once.

now THAT is an intriguing idea there.

Yeah, lasting inspiration could be seen as the Bard using some special form of bardic Magic to have the first spell he sings go on "autopilot" like a round that keeps echoing, but magically continues to sing the successive verses for him, so he can then switch his focus do a different song.
