Not Used: Semiclass Improvements
Well, I noticed that in this game you can only have up to 3 classes, excluding semiclasses.
I noticed in both PnP and NeverwinterNights2 you can have up to 4 classes.
Well, in regards to all this, I was thinking, perhaps people could have more than 1 semiclass based on the amount of classes they have chosen. For instance, a character with 3 classes can have 1 semiclass. A character with 2 classes can have 2 semiclasses. A character who uses only 1 semiclass can make use of 3 semiclassses. Perhaps this may exclude base classes? Perhaps this will include only certain classes?
Finally, I am wondering... perhaps semiclasses can function like a prestige class in that on reaching your 4th semiclass level you can improve one of attribute stats, or... since semi-classes only contain 5 levels, only at the 5th and final level?
Doing things like this can make characters go beyond the default epic levels (21-40) and we can enter the godly levels (41-60). And being in levels such as those could also allow you to take feats and such commonly found for such levels (after-all, there is a handbook for those that go beyond level 40).Some servers do actually remove the limit on how high your characters' level can go.
Anyway these are some ideas of mine, which can actually make our world have the class and level advantages of NWN2 and PnP games.

Re: Not Used: Semiclass Improvements
Currently, semi-classes are limited to one per character.
Each semi-class is a script-based set of functions.. They are not able to add real feats or affect base ability scores (or hit points, or saves, or attack bonuses) like real classes. They are added to the game in a way that they do not use up a "class slot" like a prestige class and they do not require an update to the hak files.
I have hopes of expanding upon the changes the classes can effect, but that is for future work.
There is a system out in the community for adding "legendary levels" (41-60), but their programming is beyond my current understanding (using outside databases and software), and beyond the intended power level of Aenea. I also have a dislike of adding community-made scripting to the game that I haven't written myself, since many of my scripts tie into each other and I fully understand how each works.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Re: Not Used: Semiclass Improvements
i think it's probably a good thing that Aenea isn't ready for legendary levels yet. while i have enjoyed playing on servers that use them, the encounter difficulties need to be scaled up to match 40th level toons before we add anything above that imo. nice idea on the semi-classes though if that can be figured out at some point.
Re: Not Used: Semiclass Improvements
Perhaps a splinter module for that sort of thing? As if doesn't have enough to do already!
