Detect Evil?

I once saw another character, a paladin, use 'detect evil'. It was a great effect, made Aurora and her summoned balor of the time glow red. However, having started my own paladin, she has not received this ability. Is it a feat-type ability such as smite or lay of hands? Or is it a higher level paladin spell (Audrey has 8 paladin levels, granting access to 1st level spells).

It's an ability/feat that should be added upon reaching 2nd level as paladin. It should appear on the radial menu somewhere as a basic golden yellow star.

I'm not sure, but I think that one of my Paladin's had this ability at one point. And then, sometime after picking up some additional options (The tools?) it disappeared.

No detect evil on Audrey. She has all the other paladin abilities (lay of hands, remove disease, smite, summon mount, and the optional divine shield feat). I only added the player tools to her the other night, she didn't have detect evil before adding the tools either.

Detect Evil hasn't come up for me either; don't suppose there was ever anything added like "vc getmethedetectevil,kay?"

No, but there can be after I get a chance to get into the toolset and do some scripting.

After the next reset, you'll be able to enter pc tool showmetheevil if you are a level 2+ paladin missing the Detect Evil feat.
