June 19, 2011: Detect Evil & Sun-Sensitive Subraces
The paladin's detect evil ability will be altered with the next module update.
Currently:
Paladin concentrates for 3 rounds, getting more detailed information in the combat info window with each round.
New (with update dated June 19):
Paladin activates the ability, and for 1 round the location of each evil being within a colossal circle (unless protected by conceal alignment) will be marked with a red rings visual effect. This effect is visible only to the paladin using the ability, and does not require continued concentration.

And more...
Vampires, drow, and shadow children currently have the instinctive ability to sense nearby shelter from the sun, if the option is turned on (;;option sunshelter). Text appears in the combat info window when such shelter is detected.
With the next module update, this ability will also cause a brief visual effect to appear, only for that PC, at or near the entrance to such a sheltered area to make finding it easier. The visual should appear three times over the course of 2 or 3 rounds in addition to the text appearing.

Hmmm; wonder if Detect Shelter would work on a certain pit dug near a giant sword?
