June 25, 2011: Minor Languages Update
Making some minor changes to the coding behind "alternative" languages (such as Elven and Draconic). Nothing major, just convenient.
Location of translations:
Under the old code, whatever was said in anything other than Common would be translated, for those that understand, in the combat info window. Now, that same translation takes place in the chat window via special "tells", so that it doesn't get lost in the rapid scrolling of text. Plus, since it's technically it's talking, it should show up in the chat window anyway.
Like before, this still works for both the Talk and Whisper channels.
I'm making some little tweaks to the coding today, but it is functional as intended.
VC commands for switching languages:
In addition to using ;;l xxx (xxx being the first three letters of the language), you can now replace xxx with the entire language name (if you forget that you can just use the 1st three letters). Also, some languages will take alternatives (ex. Dwarven will now take ;;l dwa, ;;l dwarven, or ;;l dwarf).
Just trying to make things a little simpler.

What do PCs not fluent in the language see? The same "Soandso says something in another langage" line?
