Issue Clarification Empty Issue Clarification

Before I start posting things I think are bugs, I thought it would be prudent to get some clarification.

1) Any transition point that doesn't trigger is a bug? (or are there those that require access items)

2) Any building denoted by a map pin whose doors open should have a transition point? (and be accessible)

3) Is the mini-map susceptible to bugs?

4) Would you rather that people mistakenly report possible bugs as opposed to not reporting at all?

If not a bug, still something to put on the list to be looked at.

2) Any building denoted by a map pin whose doors open should have a transition point? (and be accessible)

Same as #1.

3) Is the mini-map susceptible to bugs?

Hrm... no Idea here..

4) Would you rather that people mistakenly report possible bugs as opposed to not reporting at all?

Logically speaking, sure. That is the assumption I go with when I find something that seems like a bug. I usually make a value judgement of whether or not it is worth reporting, as it may be too minor to worry about... but sometimes that determination will change based on how often I encounter it, or how annoying it gets.

Better to say something and find out it is a known issue than say nothing and have it slip thru the cracks...

I make an effort to not totally go off the deep end with bug reports, but as you can see, I still end up reporting a lot. I know it isnt making AD's life any easier, but the point is to help him make Aenea better... and I know he appreciates that. So far, he hasnt decided to chew me out for being a nag or a nuisance... so if that is any indication, you should be fine reporting things mistakenly.

One final note, which I am sure you already take into account but I figure I will mention it anyway to make sure its been thrown out there... AD has a TON of stuff on his plate... so even if you report 20 bugs and send him 5 emails... give him plenty of time to get around to it all... a reminder might be ok, but after that its pretty much "he will get to it when he gets to it". Rushing him would not be fair or reasonable... so please avoid it.

Like I said, I am confident everybody knew about that last part... I just wanted to have it posted somehwere for future reference.

1) Usually not really a bug, just something I planned on using in the very near future and forgot about over the past two years Razz If you send me a private message with the location, I'll either fix it (if it's really broken) or delete it.

2) It should, so you might be seeing a broken transition or someplace I intended to add but got distracted Smile. Again, a PM with the details and I'll put it on my list.

3) I've seen some minor graphical bugs with a couple of tilesets, but nothing major.

4) Yup, keep on reporting. Eventually I either determine it's not really a bug (and lock the topic) or fix it (and lock the topic...it's kinda my way of checking off a list).
