Pics from The Amethyst Dragon (Apr 17)

Here are a few random ones from the screenshots folder....

This first one was taken several weeks ago now, as a trio of adventurers were exploring near Dawnholm.


The next is what happens when your 30th level wizard figures those last ten levels could be put toward enhanced fighting.


And this last one is a look at a new subrace in the works. The insectoid.

Is this a pic where you were present with the PCs, but the player's did not know that you where there? "You" look semi-transparent...*

I like the bug idea a bit. "My daddy was a thri-keen...".

Gaelen knows what you did the other night, and there's not enough bleach in the world to scrub that image away

Yup. DMs can be hidden from players (not showing up in the player list or the game). It's like being a total ghost...completely invisible and you can walk right through us.

So yeah...I was there and nobody knew it. I do that sometimes, following along on adventures and listening in to get ideas.

Then, out of nowhere you hear "Boo!" and there's a purple dragon standing there.

Yeah... and when out alone, as a confused and disorientated shadowchild just getting to grips with the world, and thinking that that cave on the hill looks a good spot to hide from the sun.. only to run in and get a large purple dragon "spawn" in right behind you, is a rather scary and alarming experience.... just try not to instantly attack him for that first time... .... ...

....fondly remembers the first time payed me a visit in-game ...

Yea, we weren't aware of for a few seconds, and I caught a glimpse out of the corner of my screen.... bout had to change drawers... I had just got done saying I wonder if anything will happen?... and then appeared in a nice bit of scary/comedic timing

Glad someone pointed that out. I like to think i'd remember a see through dragon.

Well, at load-in, we're viewable on the player list if we're logged in as DMs And if possessing a creature, someone looking at the player list would see that creature/NPC listed among the players rather than are DM avatars listed
