Combating Reptilians
Kobolds like to use ranged weapons and magic, and rarely proceed to melee unless they are wearing chain shirts or studded leather armor, and wielding either a magic dagger, shortsword, mace, morningstar, or handaxe. Kobold Spellcasters tend to be wizards, sorcerers, or clerics. Kobold Warriors are put into two distinct group, rangers, or those using ranged weapons, and berserkers, kobolds of slightly larger size who wear high quality light armor and small magical blades. It is suggested the same exact method for goblinoids be used here as described in my book Combating Goblinoids. Have one person focus on the spellcasters and rangers, while the other fights the meleers. If kobolds come riding giant lizards it is suggested to have a third person unless you are experienced.
Lizardfolk tend to use melee weapons combined with the support and healing magicks from their clerics and druids. They are likely to have an animal companion or two, and you are going to have a tough time harming them whether they were armor or not (due to their scales). It is suggested you are armored or in a group, as this challenge is as difficult as a troop of hobgoblins and slaves.
I don't have any advice about fighting dragonkin, other than if you can't fight a young dragon single-handedly and win, you shouldn't fight these.
Fighting troglodytes is as equally hard as fighting lizardfolk, combined with several more difficulties. Troglodytes exude a stench that weakens any non-reptilian nearby when they are mad or scared. It is a equivalent to a stinkingcloud spell designed by lizards. They will also use metal weaponry, as well as wear medium armor at most, meaning you might fCace armored opponents. The strategy for hobgoblins again is useful, as this is a difficult challenge for any starting adventurer.
