Lost & Found Items Empty Lost & Found Items

Post by The Amethyst Dragon Wed Jun 10, 2009 10:01 pm

Ok, so i was looking through the palette while working on adding some folks' custom reward items. I came across two unnamed items buried in armor and sword categories (tags of "moon" stuff), with no character or player info in the comments sections.

I think these might be long to Elkour (or something like that), but I'm not sure without actual info recorded in the items themselves.

Anyone care to fill me in?

To speed up getting of custom reward items, please read the FAQ. Smile Special attention should be focused on the required info and categories sections.

hehe...I'm not referring to anyone in particular, just something that pops up every once in a while. I use the player build module for working reward items in, and the palette is filled with CEP items (so I can't just do a quick look to see which categories suddenly have items in them).

the 'moon' stuff I doubt is Elklour's , unless he has attempted to make something himself. The items below /are/ for Elklour

accnt: Elklour
char : Elklour Mulfuss

boots : Beetlecrushers / tag Beetlecrushers / resref beetlecrushers
value 20k

helm : Longstep / tag longstep / resref longstep
value 100k

which is a problem cos those values do not add up correctly. The helm should be 80k, perhaps a recent change has altered values as happened once before ?

Please scrap the helm, delete it and let me know so I can submit a corrected spec helm to fit the 80k voucher.

...I use the player build module for working reward items in, and the palette is filled with CEP items....

I use the player build module too... and I know I have on occasion exported an erf for my item and forgotten to change the category.. I use the PBM slots Special > Custom #, with # reffering to each of my PC's (Jay's in 5, Shouri's in 4 and Grace is in 3).. I plan upcoming awards and non-used/submitted stuff for old awards, I have "the PC's" made up as NPC's in the creature sections, for viewing "how things look".... .... and I also have a ton of other stuff in my PBM (such as planned player houses, scripted level-planers, self-created items/ideas, THE scroll merchant etc)...

I usually remember if an item hasn't been category changed after it's sent(it won't be in Custom 1 next time I open the toolset).. if so I attempt to record it's exact location, name, tag and resref and PM The Amethyst Dragon post-haste, whilst this doesn't solve the problem of me changing the category in the first place it does appear to help The Amethyst Dragon immensely... (so far I have noted no slow-down in my custom item collection time)...

I will apolygise now if I have caused any harm, frustration or inconvienience on the part of The Amethyst Dragon ...

And neither of those "moon" items sound like any of mine... ...

The other custom ones don't really cause a problem (because I keep those empty except while I'm working).
