Item Creation Question

I have an item voucher in my inventory, and I was hoping to imbue a Magical Rod with a spell. However, the spell does not appear in the list of possible choices when attempting to create the item using the toolset.

My questions are this: Are non-standard spells allowed to be assigned to created objects? If so, and we do not see the spell in question in the choice list, how should we go about trying to create the object?

Man, my dwarf's legs get tired of walking near everywhere. :-) The ability to Teleport to the local shop or latest area he's questing in would save a lot of time for him...

Are you creating the item with the module off the downloads page? The module you make the item in needs to have the tlk and haks loaded into it.

And on a side note... I just realized that the module I got downloaded myself is pre-1.69 upgrade. Not sure how much muckup that'll be if you create an item in that and AD tries to load the erf in the upgraded module.

Yeah, hold off until I get a chance to upload an updated version of the build module.

Keep in mind that to use an item that casts teleport, you'll also need to have a set or more of gloves of teleportation.

The 5000 gp for the gloves are well worth it. The problem being you have to have been to that spot and attuned one of the gloves to that spot.

That or look into getting wings somehow. Razz
