Not Used: Subrace: Celestial

I don't know if this suggestion has been brought up. But has a Celestial Subrace, been asked for. The players can speak celestial language and the subrace doesn't exists.

It can be called: Deva, which are a race that inhabits the upper Outer Planes of Good.

They are in the MMII [Monster Manual II] book on page 42-44. Theirs three Deva: Astral Deva [Astral Plane], Monadic Deva [Ethereal Plane] and Movanic Deva [Material Plane]

Or it could even be a setting-specific counter-point to Aenea's Demonspawn much like Aasimar are counter to Teiflings. Same basic concept, but not the same abilities or traits per-se

Yeah, you don't want them to be /too/ overpowered. :3

And, yes, this has been asked for before. I think everyone focused on something else instead of the post's main 'thing'. However: I FULLHEARTEDLY SUPPORT THIS!

They don't have to Be Overpowering. The can have the opposite abilities as do the Demon Spawn has.

I think Angel-spawn would be a good idea. Just like standard D&D worlds use tieflings and aasimar, we could use demon-spawn and angel-spawn.

Note that tieflings are part-devil, and aasimar are part-celestial. Fiend-blooded are part-demon, and in those worlds there were no 'angels', as celestials are what is used there. Though Devas match angels perfectly...
