I may have suggested this before...if i did i cant remember Ad's reply but it came to thought and i figured id post it.

On my other server i dm'd on...Athas reborn...we had modified the epic spell mummy dust so it did a quick alignment check when you cast it. If you was good...it called it changed the mummy to a different model and switched its name to make it a deva. If neutral you got a marut and if evil you got the base mummy. That way wizzys got something more akin to what they would summon instead of good wizards calling evil mummies.

Just an idea.
