Epic Spell refunds
The Epic magic System is eventually going to be overhauled and possibly have parts rewritten or recoded.
This will of course be a great boon to PCs who wish to use it. The drawback I see is that PCs who have invested in the existing system may end up having paid for Epic Spells that become or remain broken.
It would be nice to have a function in the research library to 'unlearn' an epic spell and gain a refund for the investment. In the case where spells are broken or become broken, it would be good to get a full refund.
I can also see this being attractive when casters pay the cost of a spell and from testing it, discover it does not work how they wanted it to. In this case, perhaps not a full refund, but at least something like a 75% refund would be good.

Re: Epic Spell refunds
Seconded.
I have a few duds in my spellbook that I'd love to be able to recover the costs from, and if anything breaks/recodes in the future, that would be a very nice option to have.

Fourthed (?) ... not sure that is actually a word, but apparently it is because the auto-spellchecker isn't flagging it up as wrong!

That sounds more like a lisp, lol.
I'm not an epic mage yet (will be first time, so I don't even entirely understand the epic spell creation system), but I think it's only fair to reset mages' epic spell stuff via credit of some type after a major overhaul fix.
And also a credit if you want to back off something that didn't go the way you'd hoped.
So I sixth this, too.
