Sneak Attack Empty Sneak Attack

I might just be going crazy, but why does it seem like I have to be really close to get a sneak attack on this server. My character is a Rogue on the path of becoming an Arcane Archer and it seems like I have to be almost point blank to get sneak attacks. I could have swore I use to get sneak attacks being much further away on other servers. I know Sneak Attack is hardcoded, so does this mean I'm just losing my mind or is it nerfed in some way?

It's not been changed that I know of.

Are you sure that you're flanking your targets? Even at a distance, if the target is "facing you/approaching/targetting" you, you won't get the sneak attacks in.

I played a rogue in Aenea for a long time... I haven't seen any change in the SA's ... but then I usually have a buddy along with me, just to ensure that I'm flanking my enemy...

From what I've noticed, as long as there is yourself and an allied combatant in the fray against the same foe, you'll hit with those SA's to the enemies that deserve them... ...

Sneak attacking from range happens only if you are within 30 feet...at least in D&D 3rd Edition.

I think NWN has a similar distance. Basically, you need to be flanking or the enemy needs to be unaware of you to do any sneak attacking.
