Short Poll: Event Timing?

So, I'm working on bringing together an event that in the workings so far has had involvement from a lot of different characters. Yes, that thing with the warriors of the Order of the Red Talon.

There is something that may be happening soon (unless the PCs can prevent it), which I think would work best with involvement of more players. I don't want anyone to feel left out by not hearing about it beforehand.

Yup, an Amethyst Dragon -run event. Tentative time/date for it is in about a week and a half (the weekend of Oct. 16-18) so I can do some event-related scripting and arrange a time I can dedicate a few hours to the game. I will be running this myself, so the other DMs can actually play the entire time.

I'd like to get player input on what would be the best time/date for this. Please vote on one of the options (and/or suggest another time). I'm trying to work in a time when the wife should be asleep or at work and I can distract my kids with a movie, nap, or time at their grandparent's house.

This will be a 4-day poll.

- Fri. 10/16 10pm-1am Arizona time (10/17 3am-6am GMT)

- Sat. 10/17 12pm-3pm Arizona time (7pm-10pm GMT)

- Sat. 10/17 3pm-6pm Arizona time (10pm-1am GMT)

- Sun. 10/18 12pm-3pm Arizona time (7pm-10pm GMT)

- Sun. 10/18 2pm-5pm Arizona time (9pm-12am GMT)

Sundays work best for me.

No preference, as I write my own hours for work, and can take off whatever time

I'm a new player, but I fear this poll will have very mixed results, since there are players here from almost all around the world, so everyone will pick different time - comfortable for his/her timezone,

if its any day but sunday, i will have a tough time making it

I'm good with any time on the weekends. Though I prefer saturday, I can rearrange a few things to make sunday.

I've been trying to keep to a "strict" 10pm - Midnight (GMT) schedule (in line with orders form the wife concerning "playtime")... so I've voted for the Saturday 10pm-1am GMT.... it's alot easier to sway the times during the weekend, and the little-one is usually in bed by then (so is the wife for that matter!).... providing I'm at home that weekend thats the best time for me to be able to attend... ...

I'm in line with Manny on this one, pretty much anytime will be good for me.

EDIT: Never mind, misread the dates. The last option seems good for me.

Weekends are best for me, and I should be able to make this at any of the listed times.

My playing times as a general rule are as follows (Central Time):

8AM - 1PM: this is good almost any day except Sundays

11PM until above on my off work days.

This generally means I will miss most events, but I am used to this.

I´ve voted for the late saturday, but any other time should work as well...i´ll see to that!

So, what was the final decision? And would it be best to bring my biggest character, or use one of my lowers to help run new people through the event?

You can bring any character. I'll make sure there is a mix of low and high level challenges.

Let's see, with daylight savings (still in effect, I think), that's 5pm Central time.

Arizona doesn't change for daylight savings, so summer months we're the same as Pacific time, other months the same as Mountain time.

Woot! Who to bring to the party? The bard, the monk, or the Paladin? hrrrmmmmm............ One of the 3 will definitely be there though, can't wait for this one
