Wearing disguises for the certain classes such as Fighter, Wizard and Rogue (Which can be found at Smitty in Vale) should allow you to buy from the Designated League merchant.

Well, disguises DO indeed allow you access to the league merchants you wouldnt normally have access to.... however.... the disguises are not located at Smitty's as far as I am aware
