Material Spell Components.
Now that the option mc (material components) is working, two questions.
1) Will Morty get back that book/scroll he had that provided a list of what components are needed for what spell?
2) Besides burning up stuff in my inventory, what is the purpose/effect of using material components?

Re: Material Spell Components.
Using material components should yield a small xp bonus when casting spells that use components. Just a little something for the effort, since I don't really want using them to be a requirement for casting spells (I know, it'd be closer to PnP if I did, but I don't want it to be a burden on play).
I'll have to add that book back for Morty.

Yeah... strangely enough, keeping stocked on materials for stuff involves more time and effort in NWN than in PnP.
Rather than simply saying, "Crideas spends his afternoon resupplying his component pouch with common components, the list prices total up to 50gp. What sort of merchant markup am I dealing with?"...
In NWN you have to actually physically *go* to the component merchants, buy each component separately, and then move them around in your inventory... having to do that every couple days (provided you actually buy enough to last a few days) would be a damper on play convenience.... even to immersion to a degree.... cuz a lot of the time spent doing it involves a merchant and inventory window.

Re: Material Spell Components.
Those using the material components option may want to turn on the option collect toggle (so you'll automatically look for and pick up/acquire small items like tree bark, mouse skulls, and vampire fangs as you adventure).
